I’ve had the privilege of working in the roofing industry across different regions and roles that have shaped both my career and my perspective. I’m the founder of AzaPro Roofing, with offices in Washington, Kansas, and Missouri, and co-founder of DragonX Tools, a company created in 2025 to support the roofing industry with reliable tools and materials.
My journey began in 2008 in Toronto, Canada, where I worked in roofing for four years. After a brief pause in my career between 2012 and 2015, I returned to the field in Oakland, California, working as an installer.
In 2016, I was invited to Kauai, Hawaii, to serve as Foreman for ProBuilt Roofing, a position I held until the end of 2020. In 2021, I made the decision to take the next step and start my own company. A few milestones I’m grateful for include:
- Being featured in Roofing Contractor Magazine, in their first edition focused on Latino professionals in roofing.
- Becoming a member of NRCA, RCAW, and WSRCA, and continuing to grow within these valuable communities.
- Participating in international expos such as the International Roofing Expo in Shanghai and the Canton Fair in Guangzhou — where for the second time we will attend and continue creating relationships with industry leaders across continents, including a strong friendship with CANLON.
- Having the opportunity to share my story as a speaker at Best of Success, contributing to the growth of other Latino professionals in the industry.
