On Friday, June 13, 2025, the Roofing Contractors Association of Washington (RCAW) hosted its 54th Annual Golf Tournament, presented by Taylor Metal Products, at the scenic Auburn Golf Course, drawing roofing professionals, industry partners, and friends for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie.
Participants kicked off the day bright and early at 7:30AM with check-in, team photos, and an entertaining Putting Contest, a perfect warm-up before the main event. The official shotgun starts promptly at 9:00AM, launching teams into their golf carts (Thank you, CertainTeed) and into 18 holes of golf, games, and networking across the course.
While the competition on the green was central, the tournament also featured engaging hole games and interaction opportunities with hole sponsors—creating a vibrant atmosphere that combined sport with community-building.
After the final putt fell, players gathered for the Awards Ceremony, complete with delicious food and drinks suited for a celebration. Prizes were awarded across multiple categories, including:
- 1st Place: Franklin Roofing 2nd Place: WA Cedar Supply, and 3rd Place: Madsen Roofing
- Putting Contest Winners: Manh Pham and Shelly Carver
- Women’s & Men’s Long Drive Winners: Colin Christopherson & Chel Minor
- Women’s & Men’s Closest to the Pin Winners: Shannon Sisson & Kirk Tarbet
- 50/50 Raffle Winner took home $720!
It was a balanced mix of achievement and fun, spotlighting both skill and community spirit.
